
ABC Muffins π§ππ₯π
Soft, baby-friendly muffins made with apple, banana, and carrot β a naturally sweet and nutritious snack perfect for little ones starting solids.
Ingredients
- 2 small ripe bananas (190β200g)
- 1 medium apple, peeled and finely grated
- 1 small carrot, peeled and finely grated
- 1 large egg
- 140g flour (I used white spelt flour)
- 2 heaped tsp baking powder
- Optional: a handful of chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C / 350Β°F and line a muffin tray with 6β8 cases.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the grated apple and carrot, then mix in the egg.
- Stir in the flour and baking powder until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Divide the mixture into the muffin cases.
- Bake for 18β22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool and buon appetito! π

πΆπΌ Suitable from 6 months (avoid chocolate for kids under 2 years old).
βοΈ Store in an airtight container for 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
