Protein Cottage Cheese Pancakes for Kids and Babies

Protein Cottage Cheese Pancakes for Kids and Babies (8+ Months)

Serves 1 (kid-sized portion)
Prep: ~5 min
Total: ~15 min

These soft, fluffy pancakes are made with cottage cheese, oats, eggs, and a date for natural sweetness. They’re high in protein, full of fiber, and perfect for breakfast for kids and babies 8 months & up — adults will love them too!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pitted date

Directions

  1. Add all your ingredients to a blender — eggs, cottage cheese, oats, baking powder, and the pitted date — and blend until you get a smooth batter.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little butter or coconut oil.
  3. Pour small rounds of batter into the pan to form pancakes. Start with higher heat, then reduce to low–medium and cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through so the pancakes don’t burn.
  4. Serve warm alongside some fruit and enjoy!
