Ingredients
- 2 cups orzo
- 2โ3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large or 2 small carrots, finely chopped
- 1/2 head broccoli, finely chopped
- 2โ3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella, cheddar or a mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt โ omit for younger babies
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Directions

1Finely chop the broccoli, carrot and garlic. Prepare all ingredients before cooking.

2Melt 1โ2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic, broccoli, carrots, paprika, onion powder and salt if using. Cook for about 2 minutes.

3Add the orzo and stir until everything is well coated in the butter and seasonings.

4Pour in the broth and bring everything to a boil.

5Cover and cook over low heat for about 25 minutes. Stir occasionally so the orzo does not stick to the bottom.

6Once the orzo is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, turn off the heat. Stir in the remaining butter and shredded cheese until creamy.

7Allow to cool for 10โ15 minutes before serving to your baby.

Suitable from 11 months+. Allow the orzo to cool well before serving. Serve in small, soft spoonfuls and adjust texture according to your baby's eating skills.
Storage
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freeze individual portions for up to 1 month.
