Easy Toddler Lunch: Pizza Roll Ups 🍕👶

Makes 1 toddler serving (1–2 roll ups)
Prep: ~10 min
Total: ~10 min

When you need a quick, easy and fun toddler lunch, these Pizza Roll Ups are a lifesaver. Made with a slice of bread, a little marinara or pizza sauce, and shredded cheese, they’re soft, tasty and finger-friendly — perfect for little ones who love foods they can hold and dip.

Ingredients

  • 1–2 slices toast of choice
  • 1–2 tsp marinara or pizza sauce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Oil or butter for cooking

Directions

  1. Take a slice of bread and roll it out thin with a rolling pin (or the back of a cup).
  2. Add pizza or marinara sauce on one edge of the bread and a sprinkle of cheese. Leave a little space on the edges so it doesn’t spill out.
  3. Gently roll the bread into a log shape, pressing down the corners with your fingers and with a fork.
  4. Place the roll ups on a tray, lightly spray with oil or brush with melted butter. Bake in the toaster oven or air fryer for about 5 minutes, until golden and melty.
  5. Cool and serve — slice in half or into bite-sized pieces if needed, and serve warm.

Baby & Storage Notes

👶🏻 Best for toddlers who are confident with finger foods and chewing. Always cut into age-appropriate pieces.

❄️ Pizza roll ups are best enjoyed fresh, when they’re warm and crispy on the outside. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within 24 hours. Reheat in the toaster oven or air fryer for a few minutes to bring back the crispiness.
