Serving Suggestions by Age
10β12 Months
- Serve fish sticks as is or cut into small, soft bite-size pieces.
- Serve plain or with a thin layer of yogurt dip.
- Pair with very soft steamed veggies or mashed potatoes.
12β24 Months
- Serve as is or cut in halves.
- Serve with mild dips like yogurt sauce, mashed avocado, baby-friendly tartar sauce or ketchup.
- Add soft rice, mashed potatoes or small pasta shapes with roasted veggies.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs white fish (skinless & boneless β cod used)
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups breadcrumbs of choice
- Olive oil or avocado oil, for cooking
- 1/2 tsp salt β omit for younger babies
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2Clean the fish, pat it dry and cut it into thin, stick-shaped strips.

3Set up a station with the fish, eggs, breadcrumbs and a parchment-lined baking tray. Mix the salt, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika into the breadcrumbs. Drizzle a little oil onto the parchment paper.

4Dip each fish piece into the egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs and place it on the prepared tray.

5Spray the tops lightly with oil and bake for 10 minutes.

6Flip the fish sticks, spray lightly again and bake for another 5 minutes.

7Serve slightly warm with veggies, a mild dip and enjoy!
πΆ Baby Serving Notes
Suitable from 10 months+ when served appropriately for your baby's eating skills. For younger babies, omit the added salt and make sure the fish is soft, flaky and easy to chew before serving.
Storage
Store cooked fish sticks in an airtight container for 3β4 days.
Freeze cooked fish sticks for up to 2 months.
Reheat briefly in the microwave, or use a toaster oven or air fryer to help restore crispiness.
