Soft steak bites are a fantastic way to introduce red meat to toddlers and young kids in a gentle, chewable form. Made with simple ingredients and a smart prep method, this recipe transforms steak into tender, flavorful bites perfect for little mouths.

Ingredients
- 3 pieces of steak (ribeye or filet mignon)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Juice from ½ lime
- Seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder)
Directions
- Prepare steak by cutting into small, toddler-sized chunks.
- In a bowl, add steak bites, olive oil, seasonings, baking soda, and lime juice. Toss to coat evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes (or up to a few hours).
- Heat a pan over high heat. Add a little olive oil and sear steak bites for about 3 minutes per side. Reduce heat to medium-high halfway through.
- Cool slightly and serve.
