Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 500g of ground chicken (if using pre-packaged, drain the water well)
- 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of raw broccoli, finely chopped
- A handful of grated cheese of your choice
- Seasonings to taste (I used garlic powder and salt – avoid salt for babies under 1 year).
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into small, flat patties (burger shape).
- Place them on a baking tray greased with olive oil.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Tips:
- Yield: 13 small burgers.
- Suitable for babies 12 months and older due to the cheese. You can skip the cheese to make it suitable for babies 9 months and older.
- Store in the fridge and consume within 3 days. These can also be frozen for up to 1 month.
