MINI CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI BURGER

An easy and healthy idea for your baby’s meals and the whole family!

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 500g of ground chicken (if using pre-packaged, drain the water well)
  • 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of raw broccoli, finely chopped
  • A handful of grated cheese of your choice
  • Seasonings to taste (I used garlic powder and salt – avoid salt for babies under 1 year).

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into small, flat patties (burger shape).
  3. Place them on a baking tray greased with olive oil.
  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Tips:

  • Yield: 13 small burgers.
  • Suitable for babies 12 months and older due to the cheese. You can skip the cheese to make it suitable for babies 9 months and older.
  • Store in the fridge and consume within 3 days. These can also be frozen for up to 1 month.
