Avocado Fritters 🥑🧀
Creamy, cheesy, and soft, these avocado fritters are a lovely meal or snack for little ones. Made with ripe avocado, egg, and cheese, they’re simple, nourishing, and delicious for little tummies.
These fritters are soft on the inside, lightly golden on the outside, and full of creamy avocado flavour. They’re a great option when you want something simple, filling, and easy for little hands to manage.
Ingredients
- 1 medium ripe avocado
- 1 egg
- 20g cheddar cheese, grated
- Extra virgin olive oil, for frying
Recipe Tips
- Choose a soft, ripe avocado for easy mashing
- Use a silicone spatula for gentle flipping
Method
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocado well.
- Add the grated cheese and egg, and mix until well combined.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop 1 tablespoon of batter per fritter into the skillet.
- Cook until the underside is golden brown, adjusting the heat as needed.
- Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
