Broccoli Cheddar Tots 🥦🧀
Crisp-edged, soft-centered broccoli tots mixed with cheddar, panko, and egg — simple, kid-friendly, and oven-baked.
Ingredients
Servings: 10
- 1⁄2 head broccoli, steamed (125g / 4.5oz)
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese (tasty cheese)
- 1⁄2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or any breadcrumbs)
- 1 egg
Instructions

Steam and mash broccoli
Steam your broccoli until very tender, then mash really well in a large bowl. -
Add remaining ingredients
Add egg, breadcrumbs and cheese and mash well to combine. -
Shape into tots
Using wet hands, shape your mixture into tots. If your mixture isn't holding, mash it further or try adding an egg. If it's too wet to shape, add extra breadcrumbs. -
Bake
Bake your tots at 180°C for 20 minutes, or until edges are starting to brown.
