Baby Serving Guide
9 months+: Cook the pasta until fully tender rather than firm or al dente.

Keep the pasta generously coated in sauce so it stays moist and easy to eat.
For younger babies, blend the sweet potato sauce until completely smooth before mixing it with the pasta.
Baby-Friendly Tips
- Added salt: The original recipe contains Β½ teaspoon of salt. For babies under 12 months, omit the added salt.
- Cheddar: Cheddar naturally contains sodium, so no additional salt is needed in baby's portion.
- Whole milk: Cow's milk is used here as an ingredient in the meal, not as a replacement for breast milk or formula as baby's main drink.
- Dairy: Whole milk and cheddar contain milk, a common allergen.
- Wheat: Traditional pasta contains wheat unless a wheat-free pasta is chosen.
- Always serve baby seated upright and under close adult supervision.
Serving Ideas
- Serve the creamy pasta as written for a vegetarian meal.
- The original recipe suggests adding shredded chicken for extra protein if desired.
- White beans can also be added for extra protein if desired.
- Chicken and white beans are optional serving additions and are not part of the original recipe formula.
Storage
- Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Freezer: Freeze for up to 1 month.
- When reheating, add a little milk if needed to restore the creamy consistency.
