This apple cake is a healthy and tasty option for babies from 12 months onward, packed with natural nutrients. It’s a sweet and nutritious alternative, with no added sugar, perfect for baby-led weaning.

Delicious Apple Cake for Baby

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 6 tablespoons of oats
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Grate the apple.
  2. Beat the eggs with a fork and mix with the grated apple.
  3. Add the oats, cornstarch, baking powder, and a pinch of cinnamon.
  4. Mix all the ingredients well.
  5. Pour the batter into silicone molds and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving to the baby.

Storage:

  • Store the apple cakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Freezing: For longer storage, place the cakes in the freezer. Let them cool completely before freezing. Store them in individual portions, wrapped in plastic wrap or freezer bags, removing as much air as possible. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month.
  • Thawing: Remove the cakes from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for a few hours or heat them in the microwave or oven, if preferred.
