- If the dough is still too dry, add Greek yogurt 1 tablespoon at a time until a soft pizza dough forms.

- Use a circular cookie cutter, wide glass or similar round object to cut small circles.
Assemble the Mini Pizzas
- Spread a small amount of tomato or pizza sauce over each dough circle.
- Add any desired toddler-friendly toppings.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over each mini pizza.

Toddler Serving Guide
12–23 months: Allow the mini pizza to cool before serving.
Cut into small, manageable pieces or soft strips depending on your toddler's eating skills.
Make sure the crust stays tender enough to bite and chew comfortably.
Serve alongside soft cooked vegetables, sliced soft fruit or another protein source for a more complete meal.
Toddler-Friendly Tips
- Wheat: The pizza dough contains wheat and therefore gluten.
- Dairy: Greek yogurt and cheese contain milk, a common food allergen.
- Salt: The dough contains a small amount of added salt. Choose lower-sodium tomato sauce and toppings when possible.
- Toppings: Avoid hard, round or difficult-to-chew toppings. Cook vegetables until soft and cut toppings into small pieces.
- Highly salty toppings such as pepperoni, sausage and olives are best used sparingly for toddlers.
- Avoid making the crust excessively crisp or hard.
- Always serve your toddler seated upright and under adult supervision.
Recipe Tips
- White whole wheat flour, whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour may be used.
- If using self-rising flour, omit the baking powder and added salt.
- The number of mini pizzas depends on the thickness of the dough and the size of the cutter.
- Rolling the dough to approximately ¼ inch thick produces about 12–14 small pizzas.
- Soft toppings such as cooked spinach, finely chopped mushrooms, shredded chicken or soft cooked bell pepper work well for toddlers.
- The dough can also be cut into fun shapes before adding the toppings.
Storage
- Refrigerator: Store leftover mini pizzas in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
- Freezer: Freeze cooked mini pizzas for up to 2 months.
- The uncooked dough circles may also be frozen before adding the toppings.
- Thaw frozen pizzas in the refrigerator before reheating when possible.
- Reheating: Reheat in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 5 minutes, or microwave briefly until warmed through.
- Allow the pizza to cool to a safe temperature before offering to your toddler.

The original quantities and metric values are unchanged.
The recipe permits white whole wheat, whole wheat or all-purpose flour, and does not specify the fat content of the yogurt, the cheese variety or the sauce brand. These choices can significantly change the nutrition. Iron may be lower with unenriched flour.
Optional toddler-friendly toppings, any extra yogurt used to adjust the dough and olive oil brushed onto the air fryer tray are excluded because no amounts are specified. Adding them will change the final values. Sugar values include naturally occurring sugars in the yogurt and tomato sauce; added sugar depends on the specific sauce used.
Vitamin A is expressed as micrograms of retinol activity equivalents (RAE). Vitamin C may decrease during baking. These are ingredient-based estimates, not laboratory measurements or a verified nutrition label.
