Kid-Friendly Roasted Cauliflower 🥦✨

Kid-Friendly Roasted Cauliflower (Crispy, Golden & Snack-Worthy)

If you’ve ever struggled to get your toddler excited about vegetables, this kid-friendly roasted cauliflower might surprise you. My toddler literally snacks on this and will eat an entire bowl and honestly, we usually finish the whole head of cauliflower every time I make it. It comes out so yummy, golden, and slightly crispy that it disappears straight off the pan.

This is one of those simple recipes that works as both a snack and a side dish. Serve it alongside any protein for dinner, add it to lunch plates, or let kids snack on it straight from the tray. It’s easy, approachable, and one of the best ways to make cauliflower truly enjoyable for little eaters.

Nutritional Benefits 🥗✨

  • Cauliflower: Rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants that support immunity and digestion
  • Olive oil: Provides healthy fats that help absorb fat-soluble vitamins
  • Parmesan cheese: Adds protein and calcium for bone growth

Serving Ideas 🍽️

  • Serve as a snack with fingers or a fork
  • Add to dinner as a side dish
  • Pair with chicken, fish, meatballs, or any protein of choice
  • Add to grain bowls or pasta
  • Pack leftovers into lunchboxes

It works for just about any meal of the day.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings: 1
  • 1 cauliflower head
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • optional
  • salt (OMIT for younger babies)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In the meantime chop cauliflower florets into smaller pieces
  3. Add olive oil, parmesan, salt, pepper, paprika and coat all the cauliflower
  4. Add to baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread it out into a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes until soft with crispy edges
  5. Let cool & enjoy!

Notes

Storage instructions - Refrigerator: Let the roasted cauliflower cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Reheating: Reheat in the oven or air fryer to bring back the crispy edges. The microwave will soften it.

Freezing: Do not freeze. Freezing changes the texture and makes the cauliflower mushy once reheated.
