✔ Recommended age: 9 months+
✔ Soft and easy-to-make dough
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of wheat flour (use the yogurt cup as a measure)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder (optional for a softer dough, but works without it)
- 1 cup of plain whole yogurt (200ml)
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth dough. If it’s too sticky, add more flour gradually.
- Divide into small portions, roll into balls, and flatten them to form mini pizzas.
- Cook the dough in a pan over low heat until golden on both sides.
- Add your chosen toppings and return to the heat until the cheese melts.
Topping suggestion: cheese, tomato, and oregano. Get creative and adapt it to your baby’s needs!
Storage & Freezing:
✔ Refrigeration: Store the cooked pizza bases in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
✔ Freezing: The pizza bases can be stored for 1 month in the freezer or 3 months in a deep freezer. To freeze, stack the cooked bases with parchment paper in between and store in freezer bags.
✔ Defrosting: Remove only the needed portion, reheat in a pan or oven, and add the toppings.
