These Strawberry Banana Bars are soft-baked, naturally sweetened, and made with just four simple ingredients. Nut-free and school-safe, they’re perfect for babies 9 months & up, toddlers, and kids.

Serving Suggestions

6–8 months+: Cut into finger-size strips for baby-led weaning.

Toddlers: Perfect for self-feeding, snack time, or lunchboxes.

Older kids: Enjoy as a snack, breakfast bite, or crumbled into yogurt.

Storage Tips

Fridge: Store in an airtight container for 4–5 days.

Freezer: Freeze sliced bars in a single layer, then store for up to 2 months.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 1/4 cups instant or rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas.
  3. Crush freeze-dried strawberries in a ziplock bag using a kitchen utensil.
  4. Add coconut oil, oats, and crushed strawberries to the bananas and mix well.
  5. Transfer to an 8Γ—8 or 9β€³ square baking dish lined with parchment paper and smooth out.
    Optional: Sprinkle extra strawberries on top.
  6. Bake for 17–18 minutes.
  7. Cool for 15 minutes, slice into bars, serve & enjoy!

Notes

Store in a closed container in the fridge for 4–5 days. For freezer storage, keep in a single layer for up to 1 month.
