Healthy, easy-to-make bread recipe with NO kneading required!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
- 1/4 cup warm milk
- 1 tablespoon demerara sugar*
- 1/2 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 level teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the warm milk with sugar and yeast.
- Add the egg, olive oil, salt, and mashed sweet potato, and stir well.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until you achieve a slightly sticky and moist dough.
- Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
