Sweet Potato Bread

Healthy, easy-to-make bread recipe with NO kneading required!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon demerara sugar*
  • 1/2 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 level teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the warm milk with sugar and yeast.
  2. Add the egg, olive oil, salt, and mashed sweet potato, and stir well.
  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until you achieve a slightly sticky and moist dough.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with fruits to make the meal even more nutritious!

  • Suitable for 12 months and older.
  • Consume within 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.

*The sugar in bread recipes is consumed by the yeast during fermentation, so it’s safe for children under 2 years old.
